About the Artist
Linda received a Bachelor of Science degree in Art and Design
from Arkansas Tech University and worked as a graphic artist and later
became an illustrator for the U.S. Forest Service.
Living in different parts of the country she studied with
other artists in Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee, Missouri, Illinois, and
Kansas. Linda’s paintings are in public, private, college, and Army collections throughout the
country.
Linda currently teaches at the Huntsville Museum of Art in Huntsville, Alabama (www.hsvmuseum.org).
In 2005 and 2006 Linda has conducted a portrait workshop at the Grafton
Artsfest in Grafton, Australia. The festival is attended by people from all parts

Linda is a member of the American Watercolor Society and the Portrait Society of America. She will soon be starting a new series devoted to the beauty and grace of the human form.
